FAQ

Good questions, straight answers

Sessions are educational consultations focused on your student loan strategy. Kathleen is a CFP® professional and CSLP®, and she'll bring full financial-planning context to your situation — but sessions are not investment, legal, or tax advice. For guidance specific to those areas, consult the appropriate licensed professional.

It's based on complexity. Haven't borrowed yet? Pre-Debt Plan. You're the only borrower? Single Borrower. Married and your spouse has no loans? Married Borrower. Both of you carry loans? Dual Debt. The 30-second matcher on this page will point you to the right one.

Your loan details (a studentaid.gov download works great), your most recent tax return, and a rough picture of household income. You'll get a short intake form when you book so Kathleen can prepare before the call.

A clear, personalized action plan — which repayment plan to choose, how to file, what to do about forgiveness, and the exact next steps — plus 30 days of follow-up email support for questions that come up as you execute.

Fees are based on complexity, not upsells. Adding a spouse — and especially a second loan portfolio — multiplies the analysis: tax filing scenarios, community-property rules, two forgiveness clocks. You only pay for the depth your situation actually requires.
